Pitbull Lite has nothing "lite" about it! It can still protect your directory and allow you to manage your member's, but does lack most of the powerful features of Pitbull PRO.

Like Pitbull PRO, Pitbull Lite uses .htaccess, the most powerful directory protection, as the backbone of its powerful password protection. Pitbull Lite will protect your members only area like a pack of hungry guard dogs, only authorized members will be able to enter so you can feel safe knowing that their information is secure and only your members can get in.

Also like Pitbull PRO you can manage all of your members from the back-end admin area and automatically or manually approve members, delete members, and view members. Plus you can integrate the look of your own website into the script and you can also edit the emails that are sent to new members as well as personalize each one.

Both Pitbull Lite and Pitbull PRO use a flatfile database so there's no need for MySQL databases or phpMyAdmin to be installed on your server. But since Pitbull Lite is free and so powerful, we require that you link back to our website at all times (must be visible) and we also do not allow you to use the script to make money off of (member's must be able to signup for free).
